Updated: Jun 17, 2021
This year, Acumen have been listed as a representative vendor in Gartner’s February 2017 Market Guide for Trade Promotion Management and Optimization for the Consumer Goods Industry.
According to the report, “Consumer goods manufacturers continue to spend a significant portion of their budgets managing promotions and price reductions as a part of collaborative efforts with retail partners. CIOs have many good choices as they work with colleagues in sales and marketing to identify the best solution.”
The Acumen TPM/ TPO web solution, Acumen Invest, is a web application that helps you see how promotions have performed in the past, and forecast how new promotions will pan out in the future, giving your customer teams a complete business plan. It integrates ERP and external scan data giving you true visibility of what’s working and what’s not.
One of the Gartner recommendations is to “be prepared for change management to require significant effort. Motivate the behaviours that you want to execute by realigning incentives and processes, which may be the biggest part of your implementation”.
The usability of the tool plus the focus on change management set Acumen apart from other providers. We understand that, to realise the ROI of the solution, you not only need the right tool but you need to maximise the use of it, at all levels in your business across multiple functions.
Our consultants will help you use Invest to get the most out of each and every deal – whether it’s helping you to fine-tune your whole process, training your teams to build better plans or challenging you to think differently.
