Business Development Manager

Where?

What will you do?

We need a fired up and hungry Business Development Manager to help us grow as a business. You’ll do this by finding and securing significant new clients, from the first conversation to the final signatures. And throughout it all, you’ll work closely with our client and consulting teams.

 

We’ll need you to:

  • find new clients and win new business
  • manage the whole sales process from start to finish
  • be totally compelling - whether selling our consultancy services or demonstrating our brilliant apps

 

 

  • maximise our chances of winning new clients by working with both the Client Director, Sales & Marketing Exec & Product Lead to produce material & deliver demos that grab people’s attentions and leave an impression.
  • help us to build great relationships with new clients
  • be the guru of all things we do – market, products, services

About you

We need someone who can show us that they have successfully won lots of new business – no surprise there. You’ll know about formal RFPs & tender processes, and be able to handle short and long term sales cycles. You also know how to work with & influence commercial bid teams. You’ll have already proven your ability in SAAS IT or FMCG sales roles, so it’s likely you have at least 2-3 years experience.

You’ll have to want a place on the podium each time – results really matter to you. You know how to network and you always make an immediate impression on people. As well as working happily on your own or working closely with the teams, we want someone with bags of initiative & enthusiasm and a glass-half-full take on things.

What will you do?

We need a smart, bright Sales & Marketing Executive to join our expanding Commercial team. You are up for having a huge, immediate impact and for the opportunity to accelerate our growth through shaping how we operate in this key part of our business You’ll do this by supporting, managing & implementing key sales & marketing initiatives and processes. Throughout all of this you will be working closely with our Business Development, Client and Product Team.

 

We’ll need you to:

  • Work in partnership with the Business Development Team to effectively manage prospects & push progression of opportunities through the pipeline, maximising conversion rates
  • Work in partnership with Product Owner/Product Lead to develop & shape our marketing calendar, including ownership of our Social Media strategy
  • Own the implementation of the key marketing initiatives
  • Develop & execute our event & sponsorship calendar

 

 

  • Develop compelling content and sales and marketing materials
  • Create and own robust reports & dashboards that measure and track sales & marketing KPIs
  • Provide analysis and insights from initiatives

Analyst - Consulting Team

What will you do?

We need smart, bright Analysts to joining our expanding Consulting team. You will work with our growing, international client base (UK/Europe/Asia) to help each of our clients improve their business. You’ll do this by analysing & interpreting client data, and delivering high quality insights to support & inform their decision making. Throughout it all, you’ll work closely with our Consulting, Client and Software Development teams.

 

We’ll need you to:

  • analyse client data to deliver actionable, insights to enable our clients to do something differently in their business
  • talk to clients day to day to ensure the data is correct and the project is on track & delivered
  • manage clients set up, validation, analysis and sign off process
  • work with the software development team to ensure we’re delivering what the clients need

 

 

  • help us to build great relationships with our existing clients and spot opportunities to help them even more
  • be cool with travelling both in UK, Europe and further afield
  • understand our products, our market and our clients

About you

We need someone who can show us that they have a passion for making a difference and having an impact from the word go. You’ll be comfortable handling large data sets and have an eagle eye for detail. You’ll love to problem solve (so probably had a Rubik’s cube at some point in your life) and be able to juggle – not balls, but rather competing priorities and be able to work to deadlines.

Software Developer Role – Acumen Commercial Insights

What will you do?

We need smart, bright, engineers to join our expanding Software Development team. You will work within a small, high performing team to deliver top quality products which help our clients (UK & International) to improve their business. You’ll do this by working in an Agile way, to continually design, build and enhance our award winning products. Throughout it all, you’ll work closely with our Consulting, Product & Operations team.

 

We’ll need you to:

  • use your huge intellect to solve problems continually & develop the right technical solutions
  • write epic code you are proud to put your name to
  • engage in working in true Agile way
  • test your own code and other peoples

 

 

  • pair programme to get to the optimum solution as efficiently as possible
  • help our lovely clients when they are stuck and help them solve their problems
  • understand our products, our market and our clients

About you

We need someone who can show us that they have a passion for both problem solving and for developing & building the best products possible. You’ll be comfortable working with the right technologies (C#/C#/AngularJS/MS SQL/Azure) and have an eagle eye for detail. You’ll love to problem solve (so probably had a Rubik’s cube at some point in your life) and are happy to constantly challenge to ensure we are continuously improving.

As well as working happily on your own or working in a pair, we want someone with bags of initiative & enthusiasm, an ability to communicate clearly and a glass-half-full take on things.
